The BDS New Website is LIVE!

This must be my  has week of excitement! The big one on the list right now is that the BDS new website has gone totally live! We have totally updated the look, including the menus, in an effort to make the site more user friendly and intuitive. Visit our new site at https://bdshelps.com. Potential Technicians

People may tell you that I am picky (that’s right, I said picky) about the people that are hired to work with our families. I take a lot of time and care in the hiring process to make sure that anyone hired to work here has the passion and drive to “make a difference.” For me, changing the world begins with each person that we work with, so I like to make sure that the people that are working with them really want to be there.

At BDS, we don’t need to have staff members that are just looking for a job. We hire caring professionals that are willing to grow and learn. The current roster of BDS Behavioral Technicians are nothing short of amazing. They have no problems getting in touch with me if they have a question or taking the time to learn about new topics on their own. Planning for the Upcoming Year

Many parents have spoken to us over the years about the possibility of social groups being offered. We need to get a count of how many families are truly interested in their children participating. The social groups would take place in the Bowie/Mitchellville
area and we are looking at beginning the groups in the early part of 2013.

Our Websites Have Been Updated….

That’s right, I said “websites.” While we were working on switching servers, we decided to make a few changes to the main website at www.BDSHelps.com. We also decided to fully activate the mobile website at http://m.BDSHelps.com. When you visit the main site from your mobile device, you will automatically be redirected to the mobile site. BDS Winter Holiday Camp

We are happy to announce that our 2012 Winter Holiday Camp Registration is now open! Camp will take place on December 24, 26, 27, 28, and 31 in Bowie, MD. The camp hours are 9 am to 6 pm each day, but parents can arrange for an early drop off/late pick up if needed.

The BDS Winter Holiday Camp will give your child a chance to generalize all of the skills that you have worked so hard to teach them as well as learn and practice the social skills that are needed in life. BDS offers a safe environment for your child to spend their time away from school with our caring and professional staff of Behavioral Technicians and Consultants.
