Breakthrough Developmental Services is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who is passionate about helping individuals with developmental, intellectual, and learning disabilities develop skills, increase independence, and achieve meaningful goals.

The selected candidate will provide services to individuals and families in home, community, and clinical settings. Opportunities may also exist to facilitate clinic-based groups and support the continued growth of our programs.

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Hold a Master’s degree
  • Be nationally certified in Behavior Analysis
  • Be licensed as a Behavior Analyst in Maryland or be eligible to obtain licensure within one months of hire
  • Submit a resume, cover letter, and application

Preferred Qualifications

  • Fluency in Spanish
  • Two or more years of supervisory experience
  • Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Experience providing services across a variety of age groups and settings

Primary Responsibilities

The BCBA is responsible for:

  • Conducting intake and assessment activities
  • Completing functional and skills-based assessments
  • Developing individualized treatment plans
  • Writing clinical reports and recommendations
  • Providing parent and caregiver consultations
  • Collecting, reviewing, and analyzing data
  • Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Completing clinical contact notes and progress reports
  • Facilitating and chairing treatment team meetings
  • Participating in required trainings and professional development activities
  • Performing other duties as assigned

Additional Information

  • This position is part-time with the potential to transition to full-time.
  • A satisfactory background investigation is required, including reference checks, education verification, and State, County, and FBI criminal background checks.
  • All required organizational training must be completed.
  • Maryland licensure is required for continued employment in this position.
  • Reliable transportation is required, as this position involves travel between service locations.
  • Candidates must be willing to travel up to 50 miles to provide services.
