Welcome to the Caregiver’s Supportive Path

Choosing services can feel overwhelming. We understand that every family is unique, and we take the time to learn about your strengths, values, priorities, and goals so we can build meaningful supports together.

For years, we have worked with children, adolescents, and adults with developmental, intellectual, and learning disabilities. We created BDS because we believe every person deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and become more independent.

“I want your child to have the skills to get into

Harvard, Yale, or Oxford. They get to choose if

they want to go.”

~Barbara Erby-Young

Our Goal Is Opportunity

We help people develop the academic, communication, social, and daily living skills that create more choices throughout life. Whether your child’s future includes college, employment, independent living, or another path entirely, our mission is to help them build the skills to choose their own future.

You’re Not Expected to Figure This Out Alone

When your child needs support, you deserve support too.

At BDS, we don’t just teach your child. We help parents understand what we’re doing, why we’re doing it, and how to support learning beyond our sessions.

Through parent coaching, educational resources, and our Learning Library, we work to help families feel informed, confident, and supported throughout the process.

What Is ABA and How Can It Help?

Many families come to us after receiving a recommendation for Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) from a physician, psychologist, school team, or other professional. If you’re wondering what ABA is and how it can help, you’re not alone.

ABA is a science that helps us understand how people learn and develop new skills. We use this knowledge to create individualized programs that support meaningful growth in areas such as communication, social interaction, daily living skills, academics, self-advocacy, employment readiness, and independence.

At BDS, ABA is not about changing who a person is. It is about helping people develop skills that create greater opportunities and allow them to participate more fully in the parts of life they want to live.

We use behavior analysis to help people build skills, create opportunities, and move toward the future they want for themselves. Every program is individualized because every person has different strengths, goals, interests, and support needs.

ABA is not just for people with developmental

disabilities. To learn more about what ABA is,

visit our Learning Library.
