Affirmation for Behavior Support Staff

The Behavior Support Staff is responsible for: Following the written Service Treatment Plan, Collecting data, Assisting with Quarterly Progress Notes, Attending Team Meetings, Writing Clinical Contact Notes and submitting them at the end of each session that is completed with a client, Attending quarterly trainings, and May have other duties as assigned.(Required)

I understand that I may be assigned to work 1:1 clients in their home and community and/or may be assigned to work in groups as well.(Required)

I understand that Breakthrough Developmental Services, LLC focuses on working with people who have developmental, intellectual and learning disabilities. I also understand that the ages of our clients I may be assigned to may vary(Required)

I understand that it is the responsibility of the Behavior Support Staff to skills using applied behavior analysis and that I may not implement any other form of therapy with a client that I am assigned to(Required)

I understand that to be able to begin in this position, I must be certified at some level in applied behavior analysis (RBT, BCaBA, BCBA or BCBA-D) and I affirm that I will obtain one of these certifications, if I do not hold one already(Required)

I understand that I must complete all company assigned trainings before I will be permitted to begin with a Breakthrough Developmental Services, LLC client.(Required)

I am available a minimum of 20 hours per week for this position.(Required)

I am willing to travel a minimum of 30 miles to work with clients.(Required)

You must be approved by the patient's parent/guardian before beginning with a patient. You must have reliable transportation. For the purposes of this position, Uber, Lyft, and Metro are not considered reliable. This position is part-time. Evening and weekend hours are required. The pay range is $25 – $35 per hour depending on your education, experience and certification.(Required)
